Politicians from ASEAN countries and representatives from PRC met today at 10th ASEAN summit which took place in Laos.

The worst case scenario did occur and my bad feeling about the online tests I've done last friday become reality.
They are not going to pursue my application any further. What a bad day....
Numerical tests under time pressure....I hate them!
I applied for a full time position after graduation online. This involved a verbal and numerical test which both had to be completed within 40 minutes....I hate those tests, which will be illustrated by the results....I don't think I will pass this step in my application. Very inconvenient! Damn...
According to an article published on South China Morning Post today, Shanghai government is keen relocating almost 800,000 residents within the inner-circle of the metropolis to suburban areas.
Amazing, just imagine 2/3 the size city of Munich have to be transferred so "easily"....
...hmpf....excellent! When I truly need my e-mail account, the e-mail server seems to have a hiccup.
Nevertheless, Juergen, Happy Birthday to you buddy!
...well, this is just to remind all faithful readers that this weblog is due to close its doors by the end of December this year. As these pages are kindly hosted on a friend's server which is due to terminate simultaneously, I am not able to change this circumstance.
I hope you will nevertheless enjoy reading my last weblog entries and thx a lot for your company throughout the past years.
Late but there, here are some pictures we took during our short trip to Barcelona last October.
Sorry guys, I know I should be writing more into my diary but uh, I didn't expect my last year in university to be so intense.
The past two weeks I have been involved in solving case studies, preparing class presentations, organizing some additional stuff for university and above all and most importantly to spend some time with my girlfriend. Believe me or not, this is definitely not an easy task though!
Anyways, what else happened these days. Our flights to New York after New Year's Eve are booked and additionally I already booked my flight to Shanghai next summer where I will write my diploma thesis.
Hardly believable....from sweating due to the humid and hot temperatures in Hong Kong just two months ago back to freezing and the first snowfall today here in Munich!
Great news! Thanks to Lufthansa who kindly sponsored travel vouchers, my girlfriend and I, we just booked our flights to New York after New Year's Eve.
This will be a great opportunity given the fact that I have never visited this metropolis before and secondly this will give me the opportunity to visit my buddy!
If anyone might be aware of cheap hotels in NYC, please feel free to contact me.
Cheerio
Sorry, no recent news as I am intensively involved in some university projects which give me little air to breath at present.
I know, I know....I shouldn't start a political debate in here, but I simply can't stand it for which I am really sorry for ;-)
Why? Why? Although the counting of the votes hasn't finished yet, it seems that bad george w. is going to sit in the oval office for additional four years....what a horrible scenario.
I really don't understand how the American people could vote him again given what he has done throughout the past four years...it's truly frustrating to see him win this election :-(
Sorry that I didn't write anything in here before I left for Barclona last Friday, but I simply didn't find the time before take-off.
However, I just came back from my four days trip to Barcelona, Spain, together with my girlfriend.
I have to admit, we were tremendously lucky as we did find excellent weather conditions on the Costa Brava. We did a lot of sightseeing and enjoyed ourselves. Above all, given the fact that our flight to Barcelona was fully booked, we denied getting on the plane by receiving two individual Lufthansa flight vouchers, each 300 Euro of value. By accepting this compensation we had to take a later plane over Frankfurt to get to Barcelona about 4 hours later than expected...not bad, isn't it? :-)
As soon as I get the pictures we took during our trip with my girlfriend's digicam, I will upload them in here.
Last not least another funny story. As we forgot that time changed by one hour from Saturday night to Sunday, we got to the airport in Barcelona today wondering why our flight wasn't published on the departures monitor....after asking some officials we found out what went wrong. We've simply been one hour ahead of time :-( (this means for one whole day we were one hour ahead of everyone around us without even knowing it ;-))))
